Do you have a beloved t-shirt that holds strong sentimental value, but you wouldn’t be caught dead wearing it?  Maybe it’s a 20-year-old shirt that your favorite band signed or a souvenir from a fun trip or honeymoon.  The shirt is well worn and is now littered with holes and stubborn stains in all of the wrong areas. The logical side of your brain is screaming, “Get rid of it!” but your right brain is threatening an emotional breakdown if you decide to ditch it.   What do you do?  Repurpose it!  Bring new life and preserve your favorite shirt with some of these fun ideas:

Transform It Into A Pillow
Whether you choose to turn your shirt into a pillow or pillowcase, DIY Network’s How to Make Throw Pillows Out of Old T-Shirts provides great instructions and step-by-step images for creating your own shirt pillowcase!

Create It Into Unique Wall Art
Converting your shirt into wall art may just be the perfect accent for your walls.  You can choose to stretch it over canvas or place it in a unique frame.   Showcasing your beloved tee for everyone to see is a great way to preserve its sentimental value.
